ABOUT

A front door for the glasses platform that just opened.

Meta released the Meta Ray-Ban Display SDK in early May 2026. The display is shipping in real glasses, on real heads — and the way to install a third-party app is now beautifully simple: paste a URL into the Meta AI app and it lands on your face.

Suddenly there is a new web inside a new device, and most of it isn't built yet. We started mrbd.ai to be the front door — a place to discover what already exists, ship what doesn't, and keep the door open for any developer with a URL.

Who runs this

mrbd.ai is a project of Gauge Freedom PBC — a Public Benefit Company building the trust and presence layer for AI. Gauge Freedom's product lines include:

mrbd.ai is where Gauge Freedom is contributing to the consumer side of glasses — both as a publisher (we ship apps here) and as a curator (we feature what the community ships).

Unofficial, on purpose

We are not Meta. We are not affiliated with Meta or Luxottica. The Ray-Ban® mark belongs to Luxottica. The Meta Ray-Ban Display name and brand belong to Meta. We use those names only to describe the device the apps run on.

mrbd.ai exists because platforms grow faster when somebody outside the platform organizes them. If Meta builds an official store, this site continues to do what stores don't: surface community-built, weird, experimental, half-finished, paste-and-go web apps that don't fit a store's shape.
